cosy-data — Sensor and operating data storage | cosy-hub Modul CoSy-Tec

Sensor and operating data storage

Live

Store readings. Understand your equipment.

cosy-data records numeric sensor and operating readings with timestamps locally on the cosy-hub. Existing systems supply readings via REST, sensors via cosy-sense. cosy-connect provides history and CSV export for your installation or integration project.

Inside the real application

This is cosy-data in use.

For companies, developers and integrators

Your system supplies readings. cosy-data keeps the history.

A live value tells you what is happening now. A history helps you understand how your equipment behaves over time. Use cosy-data as the measurement data store in your integration project, with cosy-sense where sensor connections are needed.

  1. Capture

    cosy-sense / REST

Readings from sensors, gateways or your own system.

  2. Store

    cosy-data

Record numeric values with timestamps locally on the cosy-hub.

  3. Use

    cosy-connect

View history in your browser and export readings as CSV.

cosy-data runs on the cosy-hub. cosy-sense is in beta; we clarify suitable devices and the integration scope before implementation.

System integrators

Add a measurement history to existing installations. We assess the data source, interface and connection to the cosy-hub with you.

Device and equipment developers

Your device supplies the readings. cosy-data provides local recording, while cosy-connect provides history and CSV export.

Building and energy technology

Compare temperature, CO₂ or energy readings over time. The usable measurements depend on the connected sensors and meters.

Discuss your integration

Need a data store in your system?

Tell us which devices supply the readings, how often they arrive and how long you need to retain them. We assess the connection, storage and evaluation together. Pricing and scope are defined in an individual quote.

Questions about storing and connecting data

Can I connect my existing system?

cosy-data accepts numeric readings via a local REST interface. We check the data format, sensor assignment, access protection and any adapter needed for your system as part of the project.

Do I always need cosy-sense?

No. Systems that already supply suitable readings can send them directly to cosy-data via REST. cosy-sense adds sensor polling and the reception of readings from devices and gateways.

Where are the readings stored?

Recording takes place locally on the cosy-hub. cosy-connect receives the readings for central browser access, history and CSV export. Remote access requires a connection to cosy-connect.

How long can I keep the data?

Storage medium, measurement interval and number of sensors determine the volume of data. We define the required retention and storage capacity for your project; we do not promise unlimited archiving.
